Conference season is in full swing, and we’re taking every opportunity to get out into the world to meet, talk to, and learn from people.

What is World Summit AI?
The AI World Summit is one of the largest, multi-day, AI-focused conferences in Europe. As such, there’s a whole host of events, presentations, exhibitors, and attendees to meet, learn from, and share with.
There will be hundreds of speakers from the best known companies from around the world, as well as the latest and greatest companies from the startup scene. We can’t wait to spend some time sharing everything we can about Bacalhau and distributed computing.
What will the Expanso team be doing?
At Expanso, we don’t want to just attend events - we want to be a part of them! So, we’ll be giving some talks and attending some community events around the summit while we’re in the area.
The Intel AI Summit
To that end, we’re excited to join Intel at their AI Summit on the 8th. We’ll share what we’ve been building with our customers using Intel Developer Cloud and Intel OpenVino.
We've been using Intel Developer Cloud with Bacalhau for a few months now to showcase the power and capabilities of Intel’s latest chipsets, as well as how easy it can be to deploy and manage AI models with Bacalhau.
As part of Intel’s Ignite program, we have the opportunity to try out some of the most advanced hardware and software in the world. We can’t wait to share our experiences with the Bacalhau and Intel Developer communities.
Local Community Events
We love community events, and whenever we pop along to a new city, we always check out what’s going on while we’re there that we might be able to drop into. This time, some of us are going to be at the Aerospike Amsterdam Data Management Community meetup to learn all about Aerospike’s NoSQL database and how it might fit in with the Bacalhau ecosystem.

Commercial Support
While Bacalhau is open-source software, the Bacalhau binaries go through the security, verification, and signing build process lovingly crafted by Expanso. You can read more about the difference between open-source Bacalhau and commercially supported Bacalhau in our FAQ. If you would like to use our pre-built binaries and receive commercial support, please contact us!
